At DesignWerks Web Design, I specialize in assisting Women in Business or businesses who cater to the needs of women.

Most small businesses and most particularly, WAHM (Work At Home Mom) businesses, rely heavily on their websites for customers. As a fellow business woman and mother of 4, I understand how hard we strive to be taken seriously. We know our business image is everything yet so many women make the mistake of setting up a free website and/or doing it themselves. Unless you have the knowledge and experience, you should leave something as important as your company's website to a professional.

The last thing you want is for a website that looks like your 10 year old nephew made it. The message it relays to your customer is "my business is only a hobby".  If you aren't serious about your business, how can you expect your customers to be?

Even if you already have an affiliate web page, it is still a smart idea to have your own website that you own as your central store front. That way, you can control the content, your customers, ads and the search engines. You just can't do that with a free/affiliate website.
